Gendering Adolescent AIDS Project, University of Toronto, Ontario
- Partner in a team-based project to develop a gender based-analysis of HIV/AIDS to be used in prevention programs
- Hired and supervised youth facilitators across Ontario in the coordination of working groups on youth and sexuality; data gleamed from groups is used in the creation of prevention programs that promote an inclusive anti-oppressive, interdisciplinary and creative approach to AIDS education;
- Developed a youth-advisory board to consult on research data and to support the creation of their own series of projects based on a participatory action model of activism through the arts.
